These router bits have a single flute.
DLC Coating stands for diamond-like carbon coating, and is a nanocomposite coating that has unique properties of natural diamond low friction, high hardness, and high corrosion resistance.
These single flute tools have been designed with special geometry and coating to allow for exceptional performance when dry cutting aluminium. When used with our SM8 cutting fluid and mist cooler, mirror finishes can be achieved even with feed rates upwards of 5m/min and the DLC coating achieves maximum tool life.
